BLACK PEPPER

Description
Black Pepper is a flowering vine in the family piperaceae, cultivated for its fruit which is usually dried and used as a spice and seasoning. The fouirt “peppercom” when dried is about 5 millimeters (0.20) in diameter, dark red when fully mature and like drupes contains a single seed. Powdered pepper is derived from grinding peppercorns and India is the second largest producer after vietham. There are various kinds of pepper like Black Pepper, White Pepper, Green Pepper but the most commonly used is Black Pepper.

From been grown in wild now cardamom is properly cultivated and one of the primary crops grown in South India.
Black Cardamom or large cardamom is a substitute of small cardamom for its price. The most common verities are Ramsey, Golsey & Sawany. The fruit is almost as big as the size of nutmeg and is used in rice, sweets, beverages
